Day 2
Tbilisi – Mtskheta – Ananuri – Gudauri – Stepantsminda – Gveleti waterfall
After the breakfast and check-out from the hotel we shall start our journey along the Georgian Military Highway. First we will visit Mtskheta. The ancient capital of Georgia. Mtskheta was the capital of the eastern kingdom of Georgia – Iberia, from 3rd century BC to 5th century AD. Lunch en route.Then we will visit Ananuri architectural complex. After we passed Gudauri ski resort we will drive towards Stepantsminda. We will drive you towards the Georgian-Russian border and from there start trekking towards Gveleti waterfall. Overnight and dinner in hotel in Stepantsminda.
