Day 5
Tbilisi – David Gareja – Sighnaghi – Gurjaani
In the morning after the breakfast, we will depart towards David Gareja, the grand rock monastery complex in sami-desert south of Tbilisi. Picnic lunch near the monastery. Next we will visit the royal town Sighnaghi, built by King Erekle in the 18th century.
The city is surrounded by an impressive medieval wall with 23 towers in it. Our final stop of the day will be in the town of Gurjaani. Dinner at a restaurant. Accommodation at the hotel in Gurjaani.
